Frankly, I am flabbergasted by the by a move from the people over at TVersity. Currently TVersity is offering a free and a premium version of their software. As it stands right now, any person can go to the TVersity website and download a free or a premium copy. While this is not a big deal, the offer on the premium version has thrown me for a loop. Currently, TVersity is letting anyone download and use the latest version of their software for an unlimited trial basis. If the user deems the product to be worthwhile, they are encouraged to pay a $30 licensing fee.

While the $30 price tag may seem high to some, it is still $10 lower than the competing product PlayOn. By endorsing this new sales model, TVersity will hopefully be able to get significant influx of new users to their product while keeping it off of the usual pirate channels.
